Immaculate Conception Church (St. Mary's)- Southwest Yonkers

The oldest Roman Catholic church in Yonkers, St. Mary's is a mix of Romanesque and Gothic architecture. The most beautiful all around church in Yonkers, it is the seat of the Vicar of Yonkers. Recently refurbished, its interior is very reminding of churches in Europe. Certainly not used to its potential, St. Mary's is often times overlooked, however this gem in the middle of downtown Yonkers is truly historic and possibly the most beautiful church north of New York City in the Northeast.
